What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead and there can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.

~Nelson Mandela

The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are, but on how happy others can be because of you. How many people are happy because of you today? How many lives have you touched? Somebody needs something you possess; it may be your love, your genuine smile, it may be your money, your strength or your time. When you give with all your heart, someone is waiting to give to you.

Prophet T B Joshua.

Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is. Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you

~Pope Francis

Charity as a Duty for All

Every Muslim must give charity." When asked, "What if one has nothing to give?" The Prophet replied, "Work with your hands, benefit yourself, and give in charity. If still unable, then help someone in need. If unable, enjoin good. If even that is impossible, then abstain from evil—that is your charity

Sahih al-Bukhari 1445
